Office Administrative 

General Position Overview: An Administrative Specialist performs higher level office support duties and provides support for an administrative department This highly independent position interacts with nursing staff, clients and associates at all levels. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organization as well as excellent problem solving and mult-tasking skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job Duties and task list:

  • Maintaining Client Medical Records
  • Sorting and reviewing client medical documents received from nursing staff, CEO and other staff for accurate completion.
  • Updating client medical chart/notebook with medical documentation.
  • Respond to requests for medical records
  • Scanning and archiving client medical records to meet current compliance guidelines
  • Create new patient charts
  • Organizing and storing forms and other paperwork
  • Contact nurses for updated credentials Perform monthly chart audits for all charts
  • Preparing letters and documents for mailing
  • Scheduling and maintaining calendars for nurse’s skills appointments with the RN.
  • Audit patient’s charts monthly to be sure the charts are incompliance with the company’s policies
  • Provide general administrative support and other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications :

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with skills in using computer programs for daily work activities.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative and clerical functions
  • Possess critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal and effective follow up techniques
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate daily tasks maintaining efficient use of time
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team orientated, but also able to work independently

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Social Security Card or valid US Passport
  • Background check (no criminal history)
  • Professional with positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Comply with all of the company's policies/procedures

Benefits

Benefits Available After 90 Day Evaluation Period.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour
